Session Details

In the current era, when open-source software (OSS) is commonly implemented in almost all system infrastructures worldwide, individuals or organizations still consider OSS unreliable and unsafe software. The author considers this to be a wrong understanding. The fact that OSS is used globally alone refutes this thought. But it needs to be explained in more detail so that individuals or organizations understand security in OSS. This presentation describes how the security process is carried out in OSS, focusing on two popular OSS: the Ubuntu operating system and the LibreOffice office suite.
