Session Details

Each LibreOffice language community operates independently and engages in similar activities. The knowledge and experience gained from such activities may be useful to other language communities and other OSS communities as well.

In this talk, I will introduce the activities, initiatives, and challenges we are tackling within the Japanese community. This will cover areas such as translation and localization, QA activities, documentation, marketing, the Ask (question site), contributor acquisition, and relationships with the global community. I will explain our activities, some of which are going well, while others are not, providing an overall picture of what they are like.

The aim is to provide insights that can be useful for contributors from other communities and those who are considering making contributions.

It would be great if we could discuss and receive feedback during the Q&A time.
